SAFETY IS AN ATTITUDE! Safety is not something you can take or leave alone. It is not an activity in which one participates only when one is being watched or supervised. Safety is not even just posters, slogans or rules, nor is it toolbox talks, meetings, investigations or inspections. Safety is an attitude, a frame of mind and a way of life. It is the awareness of one’s environment and actions all day, every day. Safety is knowing what is going on; knowing what can injure anyone or anything; knowing how to prevent that injury and then acting to prevent it. To do this dose not requires a genius. All it requires is a reasonable amount of natural ability to see, to hear, to smell and to think. To ignore safe practices dose not indicate bravery; it’s just plain lack of concern. To do things safely and correctly is the mark of a wise man, a smart one, not a timid one.
安全是一种意识！安全不是一种可有可无的东西，也不是在有人监督的情况下才采取的行动，安全不只是一些警示牌、标语和规定，也不只是开班前会议、安全会议和进行安全检查。安全是一种意识，一种心境，一种生活方式。安全就是在工作的过程中，了解是否有不安全因素和对不安全因素所采取的措施。要做到这些并不需要什么很多的知识，只要在自己的工作中用心去看、去听、去了解、去思考就能做好。忽视安全绝不是勇敢的表现！保障安全是一个聪明人的表现。
